If the system doesn´t include a detector, no data files will be created and no instrument curves will be stored. This macro will generate a dummy data file with trace.ch and the "instrument curves" will be stored with this datafile. The macro will work only if the "instrument curves" are not added to the Signal Details. -This is a user contributed macro. It is not officially supported by Agilent Technologies. Contribution Structure ---------------------- Channelfile Trace.ch two macros user.mac/trace.mac Prerequisites ------------- - MS operating system as supported by the revision of the ChemStation in use - The LC ChemStation software, Rev A.09.xx or higher Installation ------------ The file Trace.ch must be copied into a directory C:\Goldfile, this is the directory from which the trace file will always be copied from. The files User.mac and Trace.mac must be copied into the C:\chem32\Core directory. However you must first insure that there is no other User.mac already there. If there is then the contents of this User.mac must be edited into the existing User.mac. This User.mac contains one line... Macro TRACE.MAC This lines loads the macro Trace.mac into memory This Trace.mac copies the known trace.ch file from the known directory C:\Goldfile to the current data file/directory. After restarting the Chemstation the user.mac will be read during startup and the macro will be executed.
